It's a bit bonkers out there and with all the usual pressures of living, there is a lot of noise.
Love is a compass.
As the pace ramps up, finding inner calm is harder, and we all need peace to make clear choices, as these choices create the life that unfolds.
This week has been hectic, and we found ourselves protecting our privacy and those who have flowed into our circle.
The things that stand out are the choices that came from love.
We needed to slow things down, so we stripped our diary of visits where presents could go by post. Meetups next year are being planned and we love our friend who immediately responded to our message with 'Don't even think of adding any pressure to yourselves at this time.'
Meeting anger with anger would have sparked a battle where everyone would have suffered unnecessarily, so we stepped back.
The handmade Christmas gifts list was edited.
A simple plan, where everyone could pause and make fresh choices, gifted enough calm to stop old patterns from playing out.
'No' has been said.
We've cooked our favourite meals.
Last weekend a damaging storm swept across the UK, and we drove to a city further North for the Christmas gathering of the team Tim is working with. We stayed in a hotel, as using public transport last year had been hairy and we were lucky that Tim made it back home. The team had a great night out, which was lovely, as they have been working flat out for months. We'd taken a homemade blanket from home and Tim mentioned that as soon as he saw that on the hotel bed at the end of the evening, he knew all was well.🩷
Lovely my UB. This past retrograde has been a doozy for me. I feel you sister. Thanks for sharing the calm with us. 🦄😍♥️💙💜
I love this, and it is the perfect reminder for my life right now! - Annette Rochelle Aben
There is a song by Kenny Loggins called “Celebrate Me Home” … hearth, heart, health, “no” is not exclusion, merely a choice made in love …
You've made some wise choices to keep things simple, step back, and welcome peace, Jane. Lovely post, my friend xoxo
