Love flows into life’s tapestry. 🩷
As we go about our daily round, we are a soul evolving in experience.
One of the tricky aspects of being a funeral celebrant is how people flow in and out, as we gather them in under our umbrella of care and then have to let them go. It is the very nature of what we do, yet the situations we are in are intense in emotion and activity and loving bonds are inevitably formed. It is physically impossible to stay in touch with everyone, yet I always leave the door and my heart open, in case anyone wishes to flow back again.
Sometimes, families are bereaved a second or more times, and we all flow together again. At others, something happens where we know a certain understanding and shared knowledge brings us together to share. It is the comfort and joy of being understood without needing to explain.
I have a special book holding the names of anyone who is poorly, grieving or in trouble, and those souls who have passed away. I sit quietly every morning asking for healing energy and sending love to all those held lovingly within.
Many loving choices flow into the tapestry of love that supports us all, every day.
Out and about on the road I come across roadworks and busy junctions and watch drivers pause to let a stranger in or out.
I was taking a service in an unfamiliar setting this week and a young lass took the time to show me around. We managed to lock ourselves out behind an automatically closing security door, so had to walk around the whole estate to come back in again. I joked that we could tell the manager we were checking to see if the daffodils were blooming yet. They weren’t!
A delivery driver grinned as I opened the door and then sang, ‘It’s for you.’
They know my name at our local farm shop and popping in there is comforting.
Waste bins are put out and brought back in when neighbours are away.
Pink bags are left at the edge of local lanes by our volunteer litter pickers for the council to collect.
There was a post on a local notice board that a family were struggling and the response was fantastic.

Such a lovely memory and you invoked it all so clearly to the minds eye, as I saw the pond, and the colours of those flowers...
May we all of us find those moments woven in the tapestry of Love dear Jane...
